Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role

Design and implement cloud architectures that serve African enterprises and governments. Build scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions leveraging Africa's growing cloud infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• ▸ Design cloud architectures for enterprise clients
• ▸ Migrate on-premises systems to cloud platforms
• ▸ Implement multi-region and disaster recovery strategies
• ▸ Build serverless solutions and managed services
• ▸ Optimize cloud spending and resource utilization
• ▸ Implement cloud security policies and access controls
• ▸ Create technical documentation and architecture diagrams
• ▸ Support pre-sales with technical assessments and proposals

What We're Looking For

• ▸ 4+ years cloud engineering experience
• ▸ AWS or Azure certification (Solutions Architect or equivalent)
• ▸ Experience with multi-account cloud strategies
• ▸ Knowledge of networking (VPC, VPN, Direct Connect)
• ▸ Experience with serverless technologies
• ▸ Understanding of cloud security and compliance
• ▸ Strong documentation and communication skills
• ▸ Experience working with enterprise clients

Nice to Have

• ▸ Multiple cloud certifications
• ▸ Experience with hybrid cloud architectures
• ▸ Knowledge of African data sovereignty requirements
• ▸ Experience with government or financial services clients
